Bounts is a revolutionary app that rewards you every time you workout, with high street vouchers to give you extra motivation to keep going.

We worked with the brand from the beginning, creating everything from a new name, to its visual identity and first online video campaign.

Distilling the brand’s character across channels helped it to get noticed. Following the release of the videos, Bounts rose to #1 for health & fitness in the UK App Store.

Join the [sort of] pros
We made three ads to be hosted across Bounts’ social channels. The films spoof the overblown rhetoric of popular sports brands, suggesting that by earning for your activity you become a [sort of] professional athlete.

The clue’s in the name
‘Bounts’ ticks a lot of boxes as a brand name: it’s short, easy to say, easy to spell and feels appropriate for the personality. There’s a neatness too – Bounts is both the name of the app and the points you collect.

Active and inspiring
We created a set of simple icons, building the logo itself into a broader visual identity with a fresh colour scheme. We worked ‘mobile first’, with a flexible system that gets information to people quickly. As the fitness rewards concept was relatively new, we developed a tagline to explain it.
