Dance Mapping is an advocacy document commissioned by Arts Council England, providing evidence of the impact of dance. We designed the executive summary which would encourage people to read the much weightier full report.
Working within the Arts Council brand guidelines, our response was to make bold use of the photography available, with full bleed ‘hero’ images supported by strong headline messages. We also introduced a subtle mapping grid which provides a framework for the photography and layouts, then oversaw the print production process, ensuring that stringent quality standards were observed and FSC-accredited materials used.
Dance Mapping is now used by the Arts Council as an example of how their brand guidelines should be used.
