The Gio-Goi label originated from the heady music and club scene of the late 1980s. Two decades later it is still at the forefront of fashion and music culture.
To celebrate their 21st birthday, we were asked to develop a look and feel which would work across seasons and regions. Based on the loud, emphatic nature of the brand, we created a strong typographic structure which delivers the new message with immediacy. The logo lock-up devised from this works with supporting imagery to display products and celebrity endorsements. To emphasise Gio-Goi's bombastic nature we used a high gloss varnish to all of the printed material.
