As part of the East Midlands contribution to the UK Cultural Olympiad, a series of Igniting Ambition showcases and festivals is taking place, funded by the Legacy Trust. The focus for 2010 is on Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and their respective counties. We were invited to deliver a high quality publication, offering an 'at a glance' reference and celebrating the festivals taking place over the course of the summer.

Our solution uses a bespoke format with a wraparound cover; a cost-effective way of creating an elegant binding. Bright colours and confident typography lend exuberance to the publication, while the throwout cover reveals photographs of local Olympic hopefuls practising in iconic settings in the region; a stunning crossover sport and art. These images were shot by John Higgison and used with the permission of East Midlands Tourism.
