Studio Bites: No. 20

Each week we ask our team to select something they’ve seen that is inspiring, interesting, or simply intriguing. At our creative breakfast we meet over coffee to share and discuss what everyone brought to the table.

Bags of fun

Combining an ‘html rhythm composer’ with a set of dancing handbags and animation by Culture Sport TV, is this latest interactive musical treat from Kenzo.

Art of chance

This past weekend our Design Director Johanna was was delighted that her London wanderings led her to stumble upon the work of Felipe Pantone and Alex Yanes at the Stolen Space gallery in Whitechapel. Both are on display until July 3rd.

No strings

Our Designer Hani saw this incredible hand-crafted puppet recently. Showing superb craftsmanship coupled with great character design, it’s no wonder the creator is currently in discussions to mass produce this charming little chap.

Split the difference

Using a similar approach to the brilliant work by W+K for Honda’s Civic Type R, this superbly well-crafted interactive music video from German rapper Kontra K enables viewers to jump between past and present, to help piece together an intriguing story that features the artist himself.

Stuck up

Finally, a really interesting read on the use of stickers in messaging apps, and their rise in importance as a highly nuanced visual communication medium.
