With a frenzy of new games released and reviewed, Christmas is a busy time for PlayStation and the press. We were asked to create a mailer which could be be sent to press, along with a database of all games and content to be released for the festive period. The challenge was to make this process more engaging for the recipient. We devised an origami star which, on opening, revealed the url and password to an interactive website. The site incorporated the origami star as an interactive kaleidoscope, allowing the user to import game assets and change the colourscheme and rotation speed. It also provided press with a comprehensive catalogue of the games and assets.
