Rob is a founding partner of Studio Output, with a deep understanding of brands accumulated over 18 years in the industry.
After studying design in London and Nottingham, he worked alongside Dan at a local agency, before forming Studio Output together with Ian. The trio’s culture of supporting and challenging each other in equal measure became the foundation of our creative approach.
As the lead on brand thinking, Rob’s work spans all aspects of strategy. From vision-building to brand architecture, he combines the problem-solving methodology of a designer with an empathic understanding of audience.
He’s developed brand platforms for organisations as diverse as the Government’s Innovate UK, the BBC, Sony PlayStation, Speedo and fitness rewards start-up, Bounts. In overseeing our copywriting output, he guides the voice work so essential for modern companies.
Rob’s love of food and travel drives his work for international hospitality, food and drink brands. He writes about branding in the press, and has spoken at events as far afield as Dublin, New York and Beijing.
